Christina Segarra, known as “Cece”
in the world’s musical landscape, has
burst onto the scene with a splash.

As a Hispanic-American, she represents the multi-faceted and multi-
cultural generation of today. She is a premier musical voice that embodies
the essence of what a pop star could and should be; a representation of
the melting pot of cultures that is America. The Latina songstress? sweet
and edgy vocals have defined a niche in a genre of pop music that is
desired in today’s evolving music industry. The classically trained ballerina
has merged a unique style with pop music, seamlessly becoming a
smooth force to be reckoned with. At an early age, Cece began
expressing herself artistically through song and dance, affectionately
becoming recognized as, ?the little girl with a big, sweet voice?. Within her
community, people quickly took notice of her natural ability to perform and
captivate audiences.
While in high school, a modest Cece garnered attention locally by
landing a spot with the Florida Marlin’s dance team. In a leap of faith,
Cece went on to win the hearts of American’s everywhere when she
earned one million votes and won the final spot in a contest to become
the newest member of the New York Knicks City Dancers?. She
temporarily set her singing dreams aside to focus on her career in dance
and moved to New York City. However, tragedy struck when her long-time
best friend, lost her life in a fatal car crash. Her number one fan was gone
and Cece began to realize the true value of life. She used every spare
moment to write music and hone her craft, giving it her all to achieve her
lifelong dream. Shortly thereafter, she moved back to Miami and engulfed
herself in everything music. Her innate talent, drive and professionalism
afforded her the privilege of meeting several producers who would serve to
be influential factors in making Cece a pop superstar. A noteworthy
producer, Robert “Big Bert” Smith, who has worked with the likes of the
late Michael Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Jessica Simpson to name a few,
introduced her to executives at Weight Records. It didn’t take long for
Weight Records to recognize her talent and passion, signing Cece as
Weight Records? first pop act.
Cece’s much anticipated break-through album is attracting quite a
local and national buzz. Industry executives agree that Cece will be a hit
with critics and crowds alike, boasting an edgier pop sound and self-
written lyrics. Cece is steadily at work, collaborating with industry heavy
hitters including music producers Big Bert, The Runner’s, ChadBeatz,
Grammy Award winning writers Robert “Est.” Waller and a host of up-and-
coming producers.
Making her entrance into the music world, Cece will prove success in
both the English and Latin markets. Cece’s drive is explosive and
